The Haven of Rest Orphanage & Youth Center is a nonprofit organization that empowers youth and children through vocational training, spiritual mentorship, and self-development. Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to orphans in the world through empowerment, self-development, spiritual mentorship, and life coaching. Ensuring no child remains the same after encountering the organization, all having evidence of a tangible transformation. Our place in the community is to help the children with their development, acquire skills through empowerment programs, develop talents, have a positive self-image, and create our leaders of tomorrow. 

 The Visionary, Apostle Peace Amba, is the Founder of Haven of Rest Orphanage Center. She Operates the daily activities and coordinates operational management of Haven of Rest Orphanage Center. She has been working with children and youth for over three decades and believes in investing in the future generation. This includes schooling, talents and trades, and overall lifestyle. She is positioning the organization in the perfect location to perform the best work while keeping true to the mission- taking children off the streets today and forming our leaders for tomorrow. Our program plans on building the children and youth in our communities through Vocational Training, Accommodation, Community Service, Education Workshops, Health fairs and Screening, Community Development and Outreaches, Youth empowerment, and Advocacy. 


Haven of Rest Orphanage Center plans on partnering with local schools to provide vocational training & substance abuse and detox counseling to orphans. The Haven of Rest Orphanage & Youth Center strives to integrate our policies through regular and thorough training to ensure adequate operation standards keeping our volunteers and children safe. And we promise to give the best of our service to the children, show them love, respect, security, protection, and all else to ensure that this environment will be a better place for the children to grow up and succeed.
