MERRY CHRISTMAS

Haven Of Rest Orphanage and Youth Center Children's Christmas Party was filled with excitement and joy. On December 25,2021, Haven of Rest Center was transformed into an elaborate theme park filled with games and goodies for boys and girls of all ages. We fed and provided Christmas gifts to over 500 children in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The hands and feet of Jesus were seen at work blessing and loving every child that came to the Haven of Rest Center. No child was turned away or left behind.

The children of this community would not have been opportune to be celebrated at Christmas nor enjoy a filling Christmas meal. Children were entertained by famous cartoon characters and, most importantly, had the fantastic opportunity of being a child at Christmas. There is no better feeling than celebrating the birth of Our Lord and Saviour in an atmosphere full of the presence of God's love. Although no snowflakes were falling, love and laughter filled the air at Haven of Rest Orphanage Center, where "happiness is not so much in having as sharing" (Apostle Peace Amba, Vision bearer).
